The RHGC Board is pleased to announced that after meetings late into Thursday this week, the course has been approved to re-open as of May 31st. A big thank you to Meshaal Khaldi, Manager of Community Services and Ahmed Subaey, SAGA President and Saudi Golf Federation (SGF) Representative for their time, patience and understanding as we discussed the course opening. There are new stipulations and procedures in the day-to-day operations that impact all golfers. Extreme due diligence in abiding by rules will be tantamount to keeping the course open. We cannot have a single violation. Attached is the circular (PDF) that was provided by the SGF Relaxing Covid-19 Restriction – for every golf course across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) that is intended to serve as a general guide to re-starting golf in the Kingdom. In principal the RHGC Board has agreed to all of the stipulations covered in the circular that was recently released, with exceptions that were approved and agreed upon with representation of Saudi Golf Federation (SGF) and Community Services (CS), due to the unique nature of our course within the confines of the Aramco camp. These exceptions are listed below.
Tomorrow morning May 30, 2020 the Board members, along with special Aramco Executive guests and Community Services, will be testing the NEW health check process along with tee time intervals to ensure the process is in compliance and runs smoothly for all members. – the course is closed except for this event tomorrow. Members are not to come to the course tomorrow.
The test opening of Foretees yesterday afternoon, created a fantastic energy showing that we are all ready for some golf. However it was purely for testing purposes and to ensure an even playing field for everyone, previous tee time bookings have been wiped. Foretees will open at 6pm tomorrow (May 30th) night for members to make their bookings. Board Members have been blocked from tee time booking from Sunday – Thursday next week.
Please note the following constraints:
First tee times will be at or nearest 7:00am
Last tee times will be at or nearest 5:00pm
The reason for this is grounds crew access restriction, which will hopefully be rectified in the upcoming weeks. It may be the case that this will not change until June 21st. Set your expectations accordingly.
It is important to note that RHGC was originally closed down due to members violating previous conditions and rules put in place and not by National restrictions. Failure to comply with the newly agreed guidelines, will result in the course being closed again and likely disciplinary measures being taken. Please ensure that together, as members, this does not happen.
- Please have your Aramco and RHGC ID available. The RHGC ID may not be asked for, but better safe than sorry.
- Golfing is allowed for RHGC Members only. This means those who have paid either annual or monthly green fees with Community Services.
- If you have not paid your green fees you will be unable to book tee times on Fore Tees app.
- Tee times must be made on Club Central app. (Foretees) prior to your round.
- Any RHGC member who has not paid their full or monthly - green fees will be allowed to pay by payroll deduction at the starter only (no cash is accepted at this time).
- There will be no guests or “walk-in” golfing allowed. Members attempting to book guests will be caught. Please do not do this.
Procedures & Stipulations:
- Upon arrival you will be directed to check in with CS representative who will be taking temperature of all golfers wanting to use the facility, if the golfer’s temperature is above 38 degrees they will be turned away, and checked 5 minutes later. BLUE CIRCLE ON MAP BELOW (behind starter). You may not enter the course or use any facility until you have proceeded through the medical checkpoint
- Once cleared by health screening, proceed to the starter booth, your company issued ID badge will be mandatory to check in with the starter. – NO exceptions

There will be ZERO violation tolerance by any member.
MEMBERS that have carts in the temporary parking near the first tee box (GREEN CIRCLE) must move their carts to the new designated cart area closer to the parking lot adjacent to the ATM machine (YELLOW CIRCLE) and follow the path on the map to get there. This must be done by the end of the week or it will be moved for you. This move is to ensure the club operates full transparency to upholding the new mandatory health guidelines.
The red line is the NO CROSSING LINE.
