The 2021 CEO Cup will be hosted by Rolling Hills Golf Club on Friday, March 5th and Saturday, March 6th, 2021. This year’s event will have 3 tee-time options, Friday and Saturday AM (6:30 – 8:20) and Friday PM (11:00 – 12:50). The tee times will be a staggered style and will not be a shotgun start. The 2021 CEO Cup Tournament Committee will be coordinating all aspects of the golf event with your designated SAGA representative. This year’s event will utilize a Stableford scoring format applying 75% of each player’s playing handicap. We are planning four (4) men’s flights and, depending on participation level, two (2) ladies flights.

Eligibility

Any Saudi Aramco employee or dependent, 16 years of age and over, whom is a member in good standing at any of the SAGA golf clubs, holding a current handicap at one of the clubs.

Fees

There is no entry fee for 2021 CEO CUP and no green fees will be charged for this event.

Registration

CEO Cup registration is now open via Tournament Manager.  Please follow this link to register: 2021 CEO Cup Registration.  Registration closes on February 28st, 2021 @ 4pm.  Cancellations must be made no later than March 2nd

Note: SAGA no-show policy is in effect for this tournament for all competitors.

Tee-Times

Event Check-In

COVID-19 Rules are in place so you must check in at the starter and have your temperature taken prior to entering the Golf Course. Registration/check-in times will be announced on Thursday, March 4th at 12PM. Please make sure to you arrive and sign in AT LEAST 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tee-time.

Handicaps

The individual playing handicap will be calculated by taking 75% of the player’s course handicap based on their World Handicap System (WHS) Handicap Index.  Playing Handicaps will be calculated based on the Slope of 133 and Course Rating of 70.2 (Whites Tees) for men and the Slope of 129 and Course Rating of 71.5 (Red Tees) for the ladies.  The formula is ROUND (((HCP Index * (SR/113)) + (CR – Par)) * 0.75).  The maximum allowable playing handicap will be 27 for men and 30 for women.

Conditions of Play

Play will be conducted according to the rules of the USGA, the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, and the Rolling Hill Golf Course Club Local Rules.

  • Local Rule 7 (Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds E-5) does not apply.
  • Local Temporary Rule 3 (Foam Hole Insert: During casual golf, when a ball bounces out from the hole due to foam (or other material) insert please use your best judgement along with your fellow playing partners to determine if the ball would have holed out more than 50% of the time if there was no insert does not apply.

Score Cards

All Scoring will be via USGA TM utilizing the Digital Scorecard feature which provides for the Marker and Scorer to verify and digitally sign scorecards.  Information on how to use the Digital Scorecard feature can be found here - Digital Scorecards.  Please watch the YouTube video as well Digital Scorecards - Players View - YouTube for more details.

No Hard Spikes and Dress Code

Rolling Hills Golf Club has a no “hard spikes” rule.  All shirts must have collars. No tee shirts, sleeveless shirts, or cutoff shorts are allowed. Players will not be allowed to wear jeans on the course.

Prizes & Handouts

Prizes will be awarded as follows;

• CEO Cup Winner Men’s & Ladies (Most Stableford Points Overall)

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd - All Flights (Ladies 1st, 2nd and 3rd)

• Closest-to-Pin Skill Prizes*

• Most Stableford Points RHGC, ANGC, WASGC, SSGC club winners to receive Pro Shop voucher

*Competitors are eligible for one skill prize only.

Breakfast & Lunch

Meals will be provided for breakfast and lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.  More details will be provided as time draws nearer to the event.

Dinner & Award Presentation

Due to COVID-19 this year’s post event award presentation and meal will not be the same as in years past.  This year there will be a winner’s luncheon on Saturday March 6th at 2PM which will be hosted and facilitated at the Rolling Hills Clubhouse.  Participants that have placed as a winner will be expected to attend the luncheon and awards presentation. Those participating from the other out of town SAGA clubs should consider playing on Saturday which will allow potential winners to participate in the golf and attend the winner’s luncheon with enough time to travel back to your respective communities. It is anticipated many members of Executive Management will be in attendance to include the CEO and, to show gratitude for the company’s financial support of the CEO Cup all winners are expected to attend the luncheon as a mandatory requirement. Only winners and their spouses, RHGC Board Members and Directors and their spouses, as well as, those from the Executive Management team will be allowed to attend the winner’s luncheon.
