The 2022 CEO Cup will be hosted by Rolling Hills Golf Club on Friday, February 11th and Saturday, February 12th. This year’s event will have 3 shotgun tee time options, Friday AM, Friday PM and Saturday AM. The 2022 CEO Cup Tournament Committee will be coordinating all aspects of the golf event with your designated SAGA representative. This year’s event will utilize a Stableford scoring format applying 75% of each player’s playing handicap. We are planning four (4) men’s flights and, depending on participation level, two (2) ladies flights.

Eligibility - Any Saudi Aramco employee or dependent, 16 years of age and over, whom is a member in good standing at any of the SAGA golf clubs, holding a current handicap at one of the clubs.

Fees  - There is no entry fee for 2022 CEO CUP and no green fees will be charged for this event.

Registration  - CEO Cup registration is now open via Tournament Manager.  Please follow this link to register: 2022 CEO Cup Registration.  Registration closes on February 3rd, 2022 @ 6pm.  Cancellations must be made no later than February 8th. Note: SAGA no-show policy is in effect for this tournament for all competitors.

Tee-Times  - This year’s event will have 3 shotgun tee-time options, Friday AM/PM and Saturday AM.

Event Check-In - COVID-19 Rules are in place so you must check in at the starter and have your temperature taken prior to entering the Golf Course as well as presenting your Tawakkalna app immune status inclusive of the booster vaccination. Registration/check-in times will be announced on Thursday, February 10th by noon. Please make sure to you arrive and sign in AT LEAST 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tee-time.

Handicaps  - The individual playing handicap will be calculated by taking 75% of the player’s course handicap based on their World Handicap System (WHS) Handicap Index.  Playing Handicaps will be calculated based on the Slope of 133 and Course Rating of 70.2 (Whites Tees) for men and the Slope of 129 and Course Rating of 71.5 (Red Tees) for the ladies. The formula is ROUND (((HCP Index * (SR/113)) + (CR – Par)) * 0.75).  The maximum allowable playing handicap will be 27 for men and 30 for women.

Conditions of Play  - Play will be conducted according to the rules of the USGA, the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, and the Rolling Hill Golf Course Club Local Rules.

  • Local Rule 7 (Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds E-5) does not apply.

Score Cards - All Scoring will be via Golf Genius utilizing the Digital Scorecard feature which provides for the Marker and Scorer to verify and digitally sign scorecards.  Information on how to use the Digital Scorecard feature can be found here - Digital Scorecards.  Please watch the YouTube video as well Digital Scorecards - Players View - YouTube for more details.

No Hard Spikes and Dress Code - Rolling Hills Golf Club has a no “hard spikes” rule.  All shirts must have collars. No tee shirts, sleeveless shirts, or cutoff shorts are allowed. Players will not be allowed to wear jeans on the course.

Prizes & Handouts - Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • CEO Cup Winner Men’s & Ladies (Most Stableford Points Overall)
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd - All Flights (Ladies 1st, 2nd and 3rd)
  • Closest-to-Pin Skill Prizes*
  • Most Stableford Points RHGC, ANGC, WASGC, SSGC club winners to receive Pro Shop voucher

*Competitors are eligible for one skill prize only.

 

Breakfast & Lunch - Meals will be provided for breakfast and lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday.  More details will be provided as time draws nearer to the event.

Dinner & Award Presentation - The 2022 dinner and awards presentation will follow the competition on the evening of February 12th, and many members of Executive Management will be in attendance. This year’s dinner and awards ceremony will be held at the Plaza Conference Center in Dhahran, and all competitors and spouses/guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a guarantee fee of 150 SAR* for competitors who are attending the dinner, which shall be credited to each players RHGC pro shop account for use in the pro shop or cash withdrawal from the pro shop.  Non-RHGC players diner ticket guarantee will be refunded at the Plaza Conference Center upon arrival and attendance. There will also be a fee of 150 SAR* for each spouses/guest. Further details with regards to the dinner and awards ceremony will follow as they become available.

Tickets are available at the RHGC Pro Shop and must be secured and money paid before February 6th, 2022.
